Parcelle collects no personal data. No account, no sign-up, no usage analytics, no advertising. Its App Store label says so: “Data Not Collected”.
The app
To work, Parcelle talks to these hosts, and no others:
-
data.geopf.fr: the map, cadastre, photography, addresses and walking areas (IGN). -
parcelle-data.mgcrea.io: the sales and prices of the communes you look at. -
Apple Maps: Apple's map, when you choose it.
IGN receives the map area on screen and, for a search, the address typed. Parcelle's server receives the code of the commune you look at, nothing about you. As with any connection, these servers see your IP address; Parcelle adds no identifier to it.
Purchases go through the App Store. Magenta Creations receives neither your payment details nor your identity.
The sales data
The sales shown in the app are public data (the DGFiP's DVF), reused under Licence Ouverte 2.0. Its reuse terms forbid re-identifying the people involved and having them indexed by search engines: the server that serves them refuses indexing, and this site shows none.
This website
Visits are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, with no cookie and no identifier, so no
consent banner is needed. The maps on this site load their images from
data.geopf.fr (IGN), which receives your IP address and the tiles requested, as
for any image.
Two preferences stay in your browser and are sent nowhere: light or dark
(parcelle-theme, local storage), and the language, in a parcelle-lang
cookie set only if you pick FR or EN.
Feedback
The feedback form sends what you see in it: the kind of message, the text, your email address if you give one, and the version details shown, which you can edit or clear. The message is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database in Western Europe and emailed to support@mgcrea.io. It is never sold or shared; no cookie is set and your IP address is not stored.
